The English Diagnostic Assessment Teacher App enables Teacherstomark and assess the students’ performance for them to assignthemonto a suitable course & begin their studies at theImperialEnglish Academy! It’s a quick, easy and efficient solutionformarking! Official App Site:•www.imperial-english.co.uk/online-english-test The appassessesstudents in the following skills: • Grammar - 45 multiplechoicequestions (60 minutes) • Writing - 2 writing tasks (40minutes) •Reading - 60 fill the gap questions (60 minutes) •Listening &Speaking - respond to 16 questions (20 - 30 minutes)Marking theEDA: • Of the above assessment components Grammar andReading aremarked automatically. • The app offers a preview sectionwhereteachers can view which of the questions were correctandincorrect. This information can be used to identify anypatternsand enable teachers to provide effective comments whengivingfeedback on the performance. • The writing, listening&speaking components are to be marked by the teacher. • TheTeacherApp mentions clear and concise notes to follow as referencewhenmarking these components, with a breakdown on mark allocationsandoverall English language level. • There is space to addcomments,marks and decide the recommended level of study for thestudent. •Upon completion of the marking process the student willbe notifiedof their results automatically via the registered emailand canalso view their report by logging in on the EDA Student App.Noteteachers will require the following information before youcanregister: • Teacher Email - the Imperial English Academymustcreate and share a teacher ID and password for thenominatedperson(s). • Students are required to mention this teacherID whenregistering for the EDA. So when that particular teacherlogs in onthe Teacher App those students’ assessments shouldautomatically beassigned to them ready for marking. OnlyIEUKregistered students will have access to this app. Studentswilllogin using their allocated Student ID and password.
